Rose Hall Great House

This tourist attraction is one of the most interesting places on the island, not because of its natural beauty or cultural significance, but because it was home to so much criminal activity! Rose hall Great House was once owned by a woman called Annie Palmer, and she was the owner of the local plantation. Rumour has it, that Annie Palmer killed each of her many husbands once she got bored with them, until it was her who was eventually murdered! Although fiction is mixed with fact in the tour of the house, it still makes for a great ghost story if you’re travelling with your children.

Montego Bay

With palm trees lining the shoreline, laid back beaches and tranquil waters, Montego Bay is one of the most relaxed places to visit in Jamaica. If you want to try out some water sports, then there are a number of resorts and small businesses dotted along the shoreline that will happily arrange a day trip for you, whether you want to take a boat out to sea or simply try out the surf.

Blue Mountains

These mountains are some of the most unspoilt places on the island, and they represent the cultural heart and soul of the nation. Not only are they great areas to hike, but the rocky formations and steep hills are also good for mountain biking and 4×4 off-roading!
